The app SoundHub is provided by Rančić Development as an Ad-Supported app. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.

1. Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to grant certain permissions. The information requested will be retained on your device and is NOT collected or stored by us.
A. Microphone Access (Audio Recording)
The App uses the RECORD_AUDIO and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE permissions to allow you to record audio.
Data Processing: All audio recordings are processed and stored locally on your device's storage.
Storage: We do not upload your recordings to any external servers.
B. Media and Storage Access
The App requires access to your device's media library (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO on Android 13+ or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older versions) and storage write access (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 12 and below) to:
- Play your local music files.
- Allow you to rename, cut, or delete audio files.
- Allow you to set a song as your device ringtone (WRITE_SETTINGS permission).
- Provide Equalizer, Bass Boost, and Reverb effects (MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS permission).
- Manage and modify media files (MANAGE_MEDIA permission on Android 12+).
All file modifications happen locally on your device. No files are uploaded to external servers.
C. Foreground Services & Background Execution
SoundHub utilizes Foreground Services (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK and WAKE_LOCK) to ensure uninterrupted music playback while the app is in the background or the screen is off. A persistent notification is displayed to give you control over the playback.
D. Home Screen Widgets
The App provides Widgets for your home screen. These widgets communicate with the main app to display current track info (title, artist) and playback status. No personal data is transmitted during this process.
2. Third-Party Services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:
Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and core updates.
Privacy Policy AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as advertising IDs to personalize ads.

3. Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, and other statistics.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous, unique identifiers. This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries
5. Advertising and Consent (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, the App will display a consent dialog (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) on first launch, asking for your permission to use personalized advertising. You may choose to:
