1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Audio Recordings
This app records audio files at your explicit request or on a schedule you configure. All audio files are stored exclusively on your device.
We do not upload, transmit, or have any access to your recordings.
Usage Data (Advertising)
AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as advertising IDs to personalize ads.
Privacy Policy Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Collects crash reports and diagnostic data to improve app stability. https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
2. PERMISSIONS USED
RECORD_AUDIO
Required to capture audio. The app records only when you initiate a recording manually or when a scheduled recording you created fires.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE
Keeps the recording session active while the app is in the background. A persistent notification is always shown during recording so you are aware the microphone is in use.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM
Allows scheduled recordings to start at the precise time you configured.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS
Prevents the operating system from stopping a recording prematurely on devices with aggressive battery management (e.g. Samsung One UI).
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Draw over other apps)
Used to display a minimal background indicator required by certain device manufacturers (Samsung) to maintain microphone access during background recording. No content is displayed over other apps.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED
Restores your scheduled recordings after the device is restarted.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Required on Android 13+ to show the recording-in-progress notification. WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Used only to save and read your recording files on the device.
3. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION
All recordings are stored locally on your device in app-accessible storage. We have no access to these files. You can delete recordings at any time from within the app or using your device's file manager. Uninstalling the app removes all app data.
4. DATA SHARING
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data or recordings with
any third party, except as described in Section 1 (AdMob).
5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children.
6. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws
regarding audio recording in your jurisdiction. In many countries,
recording conversations without the consent of all parties is illegal.
This app is intended for personal use such as recording your own voice,
meetings you participate in (with consent), or ambient sound on your
own property.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
